Web Dashers Icon Kit
The Web Dashers icon kit is called Character Select in the game. It lets you choose a shape for each of seven gamemodes and change two colours. We checked the category tabs, icon selection and both colour rows.
How to open the icon kit
Choose the character button to the left of Play on the main menu. The handwritten label below it says Character Select.
The screen shows a player name, a large preview, gamemode tabs, an icon grid and two rows of colour swatches.
- Return to the main menu.
- Choose Character Select to the left of the large Play triangle.
Changing your icon for each gamemode
The seven tabs are cube, ship, ball, UFO, wave, robot and spider. Choosing a tab changes the grid and the preview to that mode.
Clicking a shape changes the preview immediately. We selected a different cube and visited all seven categories. The left and right arrows browse additional icon pages where available.
- Choose the tab for the gamemode you want to change.
- Click a shape in its grid.
- Check the preview above the tabs, then choose another mode if needed.
Changing your colors
The top row of colour swatches changes the main colour. The lower row changes the secondary detail colour.
We changed a cube from green and cyan to purple and yellow. The preview updated after each click, and the colours also appeared on the other mode previews.
- Click a swatch in the upper colour row.
- Click a swatch in the lower row.
- Check both parts of the large preview before leaving Character Select.
Which icons are not included
The developers say the icon kit does not yet include 2.2 icons. We did not audit every icon against the full game collection.
We found no Swing category. The seven visible tabs match the modes described in our gamemodes guide.
